In Thanksgiving for Mothers

A mother’s love is all we bring

A mother’s kiss

Her welcome smile

Her gentle touch

Brings forth the child

This little one

Who needed her

To bring us home

It is her love

Heals the wound

Every injury

Her hand has soothed

We come to her--

our song to sing--

but find a mother’s love

is all we bring
